UK Performance Network Education Programme – using information to deliver QIPP

A high level seminar for subscribing organisations to the UK Performance Network and organisations with an active interest in participating to:

  • Raise awareness of the scope and expectations of QIPP
  • Raise awareness of the scope and potential benefits of the UK Performance Network
  • Encourage networking between members and the creation of ‘learning subsets’
  • To scope the potential structure and content of future education themes and
  • Share best practice across all organisations

Advancing Quality is a three-year patient care quality improvement programme which went live in more than 30 hospitals across the North West on October 1st 2008. The presentation was based on the theme of using data to drive performance and quality improvement. An outline of the approach being taken by the Advancing Quality Programme was given which initially covers five pathways – community acquired pneumonia, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery bypass graft, heart failure and hip/knee replacement.
