Our people are UK healthcare market experts, and our commitment to hiring the highest calibre means we can deliver the highest standards to our clients. Our team come from many different backgrounds but all have one thing in common - a succesful carreer history in UK healthcare.

Most have senior management experience in an NHS setting including Chief Executives and Finance Directors in Commissioning and Procvider organisations in the NHS.  Coupled with significant commercial market and product development experience we are uniqely position to offer valuable service to both healthcare and healthcare supplier markets.

  • Mark Millar, FCCA, Associate

    Having joined the NHS from school as a trainee accountant, Mark has amassed 20 years experience as an NHS finance director and Chief Executive.  He is a past chairman of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) who is also involved in his professional accounting body (ACCA) in their work in health both in the UK and overseas.  He currently chairs ACCA’s Healthcare Network Panel and was elected to ACCA Council in September 2010.  He has developed and delivered Financial and Corporate Governance training and has always been committed to staff training and development.

    Mark has studied a number of health financing systems across the world and has worked closely with the Department of Health on the development of Payment by Results.  Mark’s current passion is about aligning service, quality and financial incentives and NHS whole system working in the interest of patients

    Previously a PCT Chief Executive and Finance Director of Hospital Trusts and Health Authorities, Mark was latterly Chief Executive at Hinchingbrooke Health Care NHS Trust.

    He is currently assisting Milton Keynes Hospital Foundation Trust as well as the HFMA Performance Network initiative

    He is an accredited mentor and mediator.

  • Chris Banks, Associate

    Chris spent 17 years in the NHS in a variety of roles including acute trust finance director, project director for a £350m PFI hospital development, acute hospital chief executive, and until January 2010, Chief Executive of NHS Cambridgeshire.  Chris now has a portfolio of interests including healthcare consultancy projects in the UK and internationally, and a web technology business. He is a Chartered Accountant, with an MSc in Business Process Management and a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Leadership.
